Monster Truck Case

Last year's Mod of the Year third place went to boddaker's simply breathtaking
Neptune's Trident which is simply one of the most amazing PCs we've ever seen. This year, boddaker has been working on some smaller mini-ITX projects for the kids but we couldn't help but include this one in Mod of the Month - after all who doesn't like monster trucks?
Early renders show the inspiration for the project - one of the most awesome monster trucks out there, Grave Digger. it's been a while since we've seen a car-related mod, and even longer since the project was actually in the shape of a car.
Thankfully, acquiring some the parts he needed, for example the wheels, wasn't too difficult as they're readily available from most RC model stores. A top down shot of the centre section with the motherboard and SSD gives some idea of the size of the project.
The project might be small but those wheels are huge - nearly the size of the motherboard. Above we also get a view of the vented enclosure with the car's shell made up of several vertical sections. This should certainly allow the system to breath.
Of course when we see the wheels installed everything changes. We can well imaging this thing will look extremely cool sitting on a desk. All that's left to say is 'Can we have one Brian?'
If monster trucks are your thing and you'd like to vote for boddaker's latest project, head over to this
